This is an exciting night for me..
My music video for Skipping Stone has been posted live, and I’m so thrilled with the response so far.
In the baby steps of this video, I didn’t know how it would all go down considering it were to be shot from my jean pockets on a $300 budget. I wanted to do something completely from me that represented the music.
My friend Jess who photographs and studies in film showed a real love for the song, which led us both into a heated, creative discussion. “How can we keep it simple, keep the emotion, make it look ‘professional’, and showcase the song!? (With $300?)”…. Our big plans were written over wet napkins.
Yet, with the grace and professionalism of my dear, talented friends and the energy and ambition combined, we somehow did, I think.
I hope you enjoy Skipping Stone as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Wow, a lesson in guerilla filmmaking for sure! $300! That’s inspiring! I’m learning how to do this stuff now and it’s amazing what the final product was with so little resources available. I LVOE the vide and think it came out really well. It’s a nod to simplicity and how effective the message can be delivered. Your eyes, expressions, and emotions tell the whole story.
Amazing job by everyone involved! :) You’re an incredible actress as usual and this video shows off how you can really go there emotionally in the scenes. I can’t get over $300. Wow. I’m going to try to make some films as good with such a low budget :)

You are beyond amazing. I dont have to like you or listen to you but I feel privileged to be able to.
Your music is special to me because when you sing, your lyrics and your voice feel like my heart has somehow gotten a voicebox and is talking through my chest. I cant tell you how many times Ive been on the treadmill at the gym listening to a song of yours imagining what it would be like for a certain person in my life to hear it and know what im feeling towards them.
When God blesses you with a gift, you have to use it and share. I guarantee someone will always be listening. Please never stop being amazing.

I have to say that this is my favorite music video of yours. While all of them were amazing in their own ways, I love how raw this one was. It didn’t over-shadow the music, but still helped tell a great story. Watching you be so vulnerable pushed it over the edge. You are so talented musically, and with acting, so it was nice to see them blended together so well. I can’t wait for the EP and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
